Presentation

The Rhône Department owns several forests on its territory, including the Cantinière forest.

It extends over a massif located south of Beaujolais and is also classified as a Sensitive Natural Area.
Numerous hiking trails crisscross it: the GR®P of the Tour des Pierres Dorées, the GR®76 and the short hiking trails from the map guides.

In the heart of this woodland setting, the Department offers an unusual sensory trail punctuated with sculptures and playful workshops made of wood. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the forest while contemplating the natural heritage it holds.
