Villefranche Handball Beaujolais is a handball club with approximately 200 registered members (mostly male) today. VHB is a club that focuses on developing young talent but also competes competitively. In fact, the senior first team plays in the French National 2 league.
VHB is a new club (formerly HBCV) that was created in 2008. This sports association aims to structure itself and develop its sporting performance in the medium term. The senior first team hopes to be promoted to National 1 next year. The senior reserve team plays in the pre-national league, and the under-18 team plays in the French championship.
VHB needs to raise its profile in Villefranche-sur-Saône and in the Beaujolais region.
The practice location is mainly at ESCALE, a multi-sports arena in Arnas.
