Anne FimbelWalk: The Largest Douglas Fir Trees in Europe at Claveisolles
clavesolles
This visit takes you to see several engineering structures on the railway line linking Lyon to Paray le Monial: Visit of the "railway loop" to the "Mussy-sous-Dun viaduct" via the "Echarmeaux tunnel".
The most unusual of these engineering works is the "railway loop" at Saint-Nizier-d'Azergues, while the most technically impressive is invisible, since it is underground: 4,150 km of tunnel to cross the Col des Echarmeaux, but the Mussy-sous-Dun viaduct, in Saône et Loire, is undoubtedly the most remarkable!
Your guide, a member of the Amis Guides en Terre Beaujolaise association and a guide for the "Beaujolais Geopark" (with the Pillow Lava association), will make the connection with the labeling of the global "UNESCO Beaujolais Geopark", with the construction materials of these works of art in the "Green Beaujolais".
