The result of 30 years of passion for horses and ponies and multiple equestrian activities, we are ideally located in Vienne near Lyon, straddling the Isère and the Rhône, also close to the junction with the Loire and the Drôme.
Le Couzon is suitable for those wishing to start, practice riding or improve their skills, all in close collaboration with the ponies and horses and with an ethological approach always at the heart of the equestrian activity.
The Couzon team will guide you in a friendly atmosphere where expertise and enjoyment combine, from initiation to advanced training:
Children as young as 2 are welcome. Baby pony lessons for 2-3 year olds are tailored to their needs and organized in very small groups to ensure safety and a close bond. The teaching method is playful, using games, fables, and other stories in which the child actively participates, with the help of a parent as they progress on horseback. Laurence is dedicated to the psychomotor development of children, and with the help of her ponies, she has some wonderful surprises in store for your children. Activities take place both in the riding arena and outdoors, allowing children to explore nature with the ponies. From age 4, children can take lessons at the pony club: carriage driving and obstacle courses, vaulting, dressage, show jumping, and more.
Horse riding camps are available for children over 4 years old, for half-day sessions during school holidays, without accommodation. Children will discover ponies and riding through play, developing their enjoyment and independence, caring for the ponies, and learning about hippology.
