Presentation
Upon reservation, a member of the family or the estate manager will present the history of the castle and offer you a tasting of its wines in the 16th-century vaulted cellar of the Château de Varennes.
Our family has owned and operated Château de Varennes since 1809, passing on the know-how for more than 10 generations.
The "Discovery" tour:
- Welcome and presentation of the Château de Varennes in the first courtyard of the castle.
- Presentation of the vineyard, winemaking and aging process in the large 16th-century cellar
- Guided tasting of different vintages from Château de Varennes.

On reservation only
We also offer a "Privilege" tasting experience with a Beaujolais platter, which can be arranged according to your preferred dates and times. Price upon request, depending on the number of participants.
