A wonderful trail that invites young and old to discover our forest environment in a different way.
A fun and artistic 3.5 km trail spread over 7 themed stations and punctuated by artistic works: Climb the river, Dream with sounds, Search the trees, Play with the echo, Penetrate the landscape, Smell the forest, Experience the pond.
The Forest of Experiences trail, created with the help of the National Forestry Office, is located in the Cantinière forest massif, in the municipality of Chambost-Allières. The objectives pursued by the Department are:
- to showcase the departmental forest,
- to create an easy trail, with different forest environments suitable for all audiences,
- to raise public awareness about the forest environment,
- to create a discovery offer aimed at families,
- to meet the nature-based demands of visitors. Located on a west-facing slope,
A reception area including a welcome sign, a parking lot with about ten spaces and a picnic area on the one hand and occasional facilities (stairs, small earthworks, etc.) on the other hand, have been created to welcome visitors.
Practical bus information: parking is available at the hamlet of La Cantinière (15 min walk from the trail).

A natural area respected by all. Not accessible with a stroller or wheelchair.
