The good life

Children will visit the castle in small groups, writing with quill pens and using a wax seal, with the help of guides. Using a small booklet, they will search for places shown in photographs and, depending on their age, complete a short quiz.

During the visit, they will have to spot the unusual objects placed in each room, look for a secret drawer, and try to find out the use of the "toilet chair".

While one group visits, the others will be able to learn how to use a quill pen to write their name and sign their "knight's oath". They will then affix a wax seal to this document, with the help of the guides.

They will receive a small booklet containing some photos: they will have to find the places where these were taken and, if their age allows, answer some questions about the object or site photographed.

You can have a snack or picnic on site. For a full day out, there are lovely walks to be had around Saconay.
The castle visit is adapted to the age of the children.
