A little bit of culture:
The Crêts d'Arjoux Sensitive Natural Area
At 815 meters altitude, Mont Arjoux is the highest point of the 1,800-hectare Sensitive Natural Area. Ponds and wet meadows, much appreciated by amphibians, are common here. Some toad species, however, prefer forest life, so be careful not to crush them on the paths. Along the trail, between Bas d'Arjoux and Bombeynon, the view of the hills, hedged plateaus, and forests is typical of the area.
