Gael FontaineMicro adventure at Mont Brouilly
Saint-Lager
Away from cars, on foot, by bike, on rollerblades, in a stroller or in a wheelchair, with family or friends, everyone can discover the secrets of the Beaujolais countryside at their own pace.
Running alongside the Ardières Valley, the Voie Verte cycle path stretches for 15 km between Belleville and Beaujeu. Accessible on foot, by bicycle, rollerblades, and to people with reduced mobility (motor vehicles excluded). The route is easy, flat, and entirely safe. It has a paved surface. Bike rental points are available in Saint Jean d'Ardières, Cercié, Régnié Durette, and Beaujeu. Those who prefer more challenging routes can explore one of the 10 cycling loops around the Voie Verte. These loops offer an even deeper immersion into the Beaujolais region, whether through its vineyards or forests, following the contours of the hillsides. The Voie Verte and the other cycling loops are managed by the Rhône department.
