Presentation

Take the road towards the legendary lands of Côte-Rôtie and the Pilat Regional Natural Park, for a half-day of discovery!

Just a stone's throw from Lyon, you'll discover a world of authenticity and shared experiences. You'll pass through Ampuis, the birthplace of Côte-Rôtie wine, a charming little village nestled between the Rhône River on one side and vineyards on the other. In the village of Condrieu, you'll ascend (by minibus) the steep slopes of one of France's oldest vineyards. Winding country roads will lead you to a typical farm in the Pilat Regional Natural Park, where you'll meet a goat cheese producer. This passionate cheesemaker will show you around his farm (if he's not busy, of course) and introduce you to the famous Rigotte de Condrieu, a small goat cheese with a subtle and delicate flavor! Afterwards, you'll leave with some delicious cheeses to enjoy at a nearby winery.

During a short stroll through the vineyards, you'll understand the winemaker's craft; everything is done by hand, from pruning to harvesting. The vines, perched on steep hillsides, benefit from excellent sun exposure and a rich, diverse terroir. It's only during the tasting that you'll truly appreciate the full aromatic richness of these great wines. The most prestigious appellations of our region—Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, and Saint-Joseph—will set your taste buds tingling!
