Museum Overview

More than 200 games and toys will be presented, limited to the period prior to 1970. A dual experience will be offered to visitors: a journey into the world of childhood and opportunities to play.

Whether we are children or adults, games and toys are an essential part of our lives. We grow up with them and continue to incorporate them into our daily lives regardless of our age. Within families, among friends, or at school, there are many opportunities to nurture the joys we find in play, to give them as gifts, or to play ourselves.

This exhibition aims to bring together more than 200 games or toys that were part of everyday life before 1970. It shows that many of these objects existed a long time ago and that they still exist today.

We wanted the visit to this exhibition to be as active as possible, partly through discovery and the memories associated with it, but also through the situations and opportunities for play that are offered.

A second space is partly reserved for a kind of photo album of children playing.

During the "Thursdays of the Plough" reserved for school holidays, in addition to the visit to the Exhibition House, activities will be organized in the afternoons in the courtyard of the House (wooden games, schoolyard games... and many others).
