Art and Wine – Awakening of the senses & a play of cross-interpretations.
During this encounter between art and wine, we offer you an original experience, where sight and taste respond to each other in an unexpected and poetic way.
Take the time to contemplate a sculpture while enjoying a selected wine. Then, let your senses guide you.
A perception notebook awaits you. It is composed of two columns:
Wine Column – Write down here the words that the work you are looking at inspires in you.
Work column – Note here the words that the wine you are tasting evokes for you.
See what you taste. Taste what you see. Give free rein to your imagination, without constraint or judgment. It could be a word, a color, an emotion, a texture, a fleeting impression.
A sculpture can evoke a spiced wine. A wine can bring forth the sensation of a sculpted gesture or a frozen movement.
A special moment for sharing.
Following this sensory experience, a discussion with the artist and the winemaker is offered. They will share their perspectives on the artworks and the wines, answer your questions, and perhaps read some of the notes written in the notebooks.
This will be an opportunity to cross worlds, to discover the behind-the-scenes of creation and winemaking, and to hear what the artists themselves see in your feelings.
Art and wine are listened to, tasted, looked at and told.
This moment is a celebration of shared sensitivity, of dialogue between materials, and of the pleasure of being together around what is beautiful and good.
