Drawing inspiration from iconic figures such as Joan of Arc, Henry IV, Lully, Napoleon, Charles de Gaulle and Edith Piaf, or others less illustrious, this creation reinterprets the History of France in a 180° way… without a word or almost, which is a challenge in such a talkative country…
With a visual score accompanied by live sound effects, the actor takes an offbeat, burlesque and poetic look at these colourful characters.
The spirit of Louis de Funès clearly hovers over all these wigs and castles… Accompanied on stage by the dancer Fran Espinosa, directed by the actor Jean-Marc Bihour, with whom he shared the directing of Fair-Play and Franito, shows that you applauded at the TFP, Patrice Thibaud promises young and old alike to revisit History while laughing their heads off.
