Vienna, the cradle of gastronomy, celebrates the centenary of Paul Bocuse's birth with "The Temple of Chefs", a culinary event hosted by chefs Patrick Henriroux and Philippe Girardon, at the foot of the mythical temple of Augustus and Livia!
Vienna is celebrating the centenary of the birth of Paul Bocuse, an iconic figure in French gastronomy and an ambassador of its excellence throughout the world. In the 50s, he apprenticed there under Fernand Point, who later became his mentor and helped shape his exceptional career.
To celebrate this exceptional gastronomic heritage, the Agora des Chefs and Vienne Condrieu Tourisme have chosen the setting of the temple of Augustus and Livia.
At the initiative of this event, the starred chefs Patrick Henriroux (La Pyramide - two Michelin stars) and Philippe Girardon (Domaine de Clairefontaine - one Michelin star and Meilleur Ouvrier de France) will bring together, for an exceptional lunch, the biggest players in the restaurant, agricultural and wine production, as well as the craft of taste of the territory.
Together, they will pay tribute to the great starred chefs of the 20th century who have marked the history of French gastronomy, like Paul Bocuse, affectionately nicknamed "Monsieur Paul", himself a student of Fernand Point.
