Concerts, jam sessions, screenings: Jazz Day is 24 hours of jazz across the country!
It was in 2011 that the legendary Herbie Hancock and UNESCO created International Jazz Day. Since then, organized throughout France and in major cities around the world, Jazz Day aims to raise public awareness of the virtues of jazz. April 30th has become a date for enthusiasts and an opportunity to celebrate sharing and cultural exchange, the values that define jazz.
Jazz à Vienne is coordinating this event across the region. To celebrate this day, numerous artists will participate in the festivities with a program that blends artistic and cultural disciplines. Bars, museums, concert halls, and cinemas will host musical projects originating from the region.
On April 30th, jazz spreads everywhere and at all hours, from morning until the end of the night!
