The Gier Aqueduct is one of the aqueducts that supplied Lugdunum with water 2000 years ago. Drawing water from the Gier River at Saint-Chamond, it carried water 87 km to Fourvière. Several remains are still visible today. The Plat de l'Air site (Yzeron siphon) is a listed historical monument.

Bus drop-off point opposite the arches. We can arrange for two or more guides for groups of more than 25 children.
