During this guided hike led by the Friends of Old Arbresle, you will discover the geological diversity of Arbresle: observation of rock outcrops, explanation of their formation, observation of their use in the city's monuments.

A 4 km guided walking tour exploring the geological diversity of Arbresle: observation of rock outcrops (gneiss, limestone, sandstone, puddingstone, moraine, etc.), explanation of their formation history, and observation of their use, depending on their type, in the town's monuments and houses, as well as in economic activities such as lime kilns, tile factories, and coal mines. The tour also discusses "imported" stones, such as marble and slate, used in the construction of some of the town's monuments.
