In 1936, Joseph Delhomme, a scout leader passionate about popular education, founded a troupe of amateur puppeteers in Montbrison. His story reveals the links that developed between Guignol and the popular education movements of the 1940s.

Puppets and costumes passed down by his granddaughter to the company L'ATEUChUS, sound archives and short film take us into the amazing story of a Guignol from the Loire region.
