So, here we are, ladies and gentlemen, let us enter into legend, let us follow in the footsteps of illustrious ancestors with a past that was more or less glorious. Let us give way to history, the history inscribed right here in Chaponost for over 2000 years.
Through three stories intertwining historical truths and storyteller's imaginative tales, encounter Archimedes, Marcus and his daughters, Maximus, Minus, and so many others... Whether they are legionaries, guards, architects, peasants, or slaves... Each has a role to play, and as in all stories, big and small, simplicity is not the order of the day, and problems abound. Fortunately, the Roman Empire is just, the Empire is great, the Empire is strong, and faced with nature... the Empire strikes back!
