Discover the old Marcel Coquard mill, no longer in operation but still functional. A visit offers the opportunity to understand how flour was produced in the past.
Located on the banks of the Conan stream, the Marcel Coquard mill is very old: as early as 1718, it required repairs commissioned by Monsieur Tranchant, master baker in Saint Just de Lyon. The mill is no longer in operation and bears the name of the last miller who ceased working in 1996. However, the waterwheel, millstones, and ingenious mechanism remain functional, and a visit reveals, on three levels, the journey from grain to flour.
