Discover the heritage of Éveux on a 6 km guided walking tour highlighting the history and architecture of the village: Saint-Pierre church, vineyard hut of the Côte, icehouse, bread oven of Morillon and sarcophagus...

The tour begins at the Church of Saint-Pierre, a building of simple appearance but remarkable for its flamboyant Gothic chancel, illuminated by three windows adorned with stained glass by Barelon. Its seven-ribbed vault converging on a sculpted keystone makes it one of the few Gothic churches in the Pays de L'Arbresle region. Enlarged in 1852, it bears witness to the village's evolution over the centuries.

The route then leads to the Côte vineyard hut, a vestige of the local winemaking past, and then to an icehouse, a testament to ancient methods of preservation.

The visit continues at the Morillon bread oven, built in the 18th century and restored in 1999. Participants discover its architecture, its operation and the equipment used, as well as its essential role for the hamlets of Lévy and Morillon.

Finally, the circuit allows you to observe a sarcophagus, a moving reminder of ancient times.

An enriching walk through architecture, know-how and local history, ideal for understanding the heritage identity of Éveux.
