Born in 1966 in Haute-Loire, Franck Chalendard lives and works in Saint-Étienne.
For the Butchers' Hall, Franck Chalendard plans to create a series of large-format canvases on jazz variations as well as sculptures that will be like continuations of these paintings in space and volume to achieve a three-dimensional extension of the painting, a control of space by painting in a contrapuntal harmony in which he will let us hear the superimposition of all the languages at work, that of the architecture of the place, of form, of color and of music.
