Museum Overview

The “1000 colours!” exhibition invites you to explore the fascinating world of colours in all their forms.
Inauguration: Thursday, July 2nd at 18pm.
Conference “The Fabric of Colors: when physics dresses the world”: Sunday, October 11 at 15:30 p.m.

From white light broken down by a prism to the spectacular colors of the aurora borealis, from distant nebulae to the landscapes of our everyday lives, set off to discover a rich, surprising and sometimes mysterious world.

Why is the sky blue? How is a rainbow formed? Why do some flowers, animals, or stones display such amazing colors? What do the colors of our emotions, our flags, our clothes, or our works of art reveal?

Through numerous themes, the exhibition explores color from scientific, artistic, historical, and cultural perspectives. Rich in discoveries, experiences, and wonder, “1000 Colors!” is an invitation to see the world differently and rediscover the full richness of the colors that surround us.

An exhibition for all audiences, to be enjoyed with family, friends or in a group.

Welcoming school groups.
Guided group visits possible (social centers, nursing homes, associations…).
