What remains of the giants of jazz? What remains of those who left their mark on the ever-changing world of this protean music?
To this question, photographer Daniel Peyreplane and painter François Robin give their answer: A concert imaginary journey with a dream line-up in the footsteps of an eternally living jazz.
The exhibition "Spirit & Companionship" takes us on a journey in the company of famous musicians, all fellow travelers of Miles Davis, through the palimpsest paintings of the two passionate visual artists, disturbing assemblages of photographs and drawings made during the concerts which create strange snapshots, with an intelligence that is not artificial, but which seeks its source at the roots of emotion.
