Museum Overview
Association founded in 1964 whose purpose is to promote, in all its aspects, the historical, archaeological and touristic heritage of the village of Oingt, labeled "Most Beautiful Villages of France".
Our actions :
- Management of the collection and visits to the Museum of Mechanical Music
- Management of the exhibition and visits and of the Tour d'Oingt
- Management of artist exhibitions at the Common House
- Conducting guided tours of the village, the tower and the mechanical music museum for groups
- Organization of the Barrel Organ Festival (the oldest and most important in Europe)
- Organization of crèches in Oingt
- Organization of one-off events (Springtime in Cemeteries, Geoevent, European Heritage Days...)
- Carrying out beautification and maintenance work on the village's heritage
All profits are reinvested in the village of Oingt.
