The Saint-Romain-en-Gal Museum invites you to a complete immersion in Gallo-Roman civilization. Spanning 7 hectares , the museum offers a comprehensive overview of daily life during the first centuries AD, through its collection of 3,944 objects . The collections are organized around four main areas: the history of ancient Vienne , the economy and crafts , mosaics , and daily life in the Roman house. The site also houses a restoration workshop dedicated to the conservation of mosaics, now internationally recognized for the quality of its work.
