Beaujeu
In Beaujeu, the Maison du Terroir Beaujolais invites you to enjoy an immersive and fun experience through its museum displays, followed by a visit to the local producers' shop. Continue your day with a bike ride using our rental bikes.
As you move through the rooms, let yourself be guided into a vibrant, sensory and gourmet experience in the heart of Beaujolais. Here, the terroir is not just described: it is felt, tasted, lived.
Immerse yourself in the fervor of traditional festivals, let the landscapes unfold before your eyes as if you were flying over them, then let your senses guide you through the flavors and traditions of the four seasons. From aromas to textures, from sights to sounds, to the secrets of local geology, each space awakens curiosity and emotion.
Discover the temporary exhibition "Beaujolais Impressions" Part 1: Lucia Fiore & the Beaujolais Mountains
From Belleville en Beaujolais to Deux-Grosnes, the exhibition invites you to (re)discover our landscapes by combining perspectives: artistic, geological, historical, anthropological… In 2026, the guest artist, Lucia Fiore - feather artist, accompanies you in the first focus of the exhibition, dedicated to the Beaujolais mountains.
This exhibition is presented as part of the project "The Marius Audin Museum Goes Beyond Its Walls" at the Maison du Terroir Beaujolais (Beaujolais Local Heritage Center). The Marius Audin Museum houses approximately 10.000 works related to the history of Beaujeu and the Beaujolais region. A designated "Musée de France" (Museum of France), the site is currently closed to the public for renovations. It has therefore partnered with the Maison du Terroir Beaujolais to showcase the core of its collection.
Finally, let your appetite be whetted by the gourmet confessions of chefs and producers in the screening room: recipes, techniques, stories to savor.
Duration: 1h00.

All the Beaujolais wine appellations are represented here.
Then set off to explore the Beaujolais Green Way and its cycling loops. Whether on a hybrid bike or an e-bike, enjoy a gentle escape through the countryside. Helmets, locks, and route maps are provided; children's mountain bikes, trailers, and child seats allow you to share the adventure as a family.
