Saint Jean des Vignes forms a promontory above the great bend of the Azergues. 360° panorama from Mont Saint-Jean (Madone).

There you will discover a carefully restored Romanesque chapel and can enjoy splendid panoramic views. Don't leave without visiting the Espace Pierres Folles, where you will learn all about the local geology and finally answer the question you've been asking yourself since the beginning of your stay: "Why is this stone golden?"
The town centre and the church square are closed to coaches. Coach access is only permitted to the Espace Pierres Folles site.
