The Wine Club of the Château de Champ-Renard
Join a unique wine experience!
Whether you are a curious amateur or a seasoned enthusiast, come and share a special moment in an exceptional setting, in the heart of Beaujolais.

Each session of the Château de Champ-Renard Wine Club is an immersion into the heart of wine, combining discovery, learning and the pleasure of tasting.
Every third Thursday of the month, from 7pm to 8:30pm – starting May 15, 2025
Duration: approximately 1.5 to 2 hours
Participants: 10 to 20 people
Hosted by a professional sommelier in partnership with Vinextenso

Part 1: Exploring today's theme (45 min)
We begin with a thorough introduction to the topic of the session:javascript:;
• Presentation of grape varieties, terroirs and winemaking techniques
• History and specific characteristics of the region or style of wine studied
• Educational materials: maps, fact sheets, field anecdotes
An interactive moment where everyone can ask questions and share experiences.

Part 2: The guided tasting (45 min)
Time for practice! Guided by a professional sommelier, we put the concepts covered into practice through a tasting of 4 carefully selected wines.
• Visual examination: observe the wine's color, its intensity, its brilliance
• Olfactory analysis: identifying primary, secondary, and tertiary aromas
• Tasting notes: balance, texture, length and aromatic persistence
The goal: to sharpen one's palate, refine one's sensory analysis and learn to express one's feelings with precision.
