Propières Village

Propières is a dynamic and flowery village (awarded for its floral displays), where you can enjoy its lake and discover its artisans and farmers.

In the past, the lords of Dun and Beaujeu long disputed its possession and two strongholds were built by the lords of Beaujeu.
A lime kiln testifies to Propières' industrial past. Quite prosperous in its time, it can still be seen at the Grand Moulin, near the factory pond, where a weaving factory once existed.
