Presentation

Linked to the history of Lyon and the western Lyon region, the workshop visit allows children to discover the origin of silk thread and the work of the silk weavers.

Spend half a day discovering the art of weaving in the Monts du Lyonnais.
They observe a real handloom and then create their own by weaving on a mini loom using strips of recycled fabric, called a "lirette." Each child leaves with their creation.

Minimum age: 7 years
