Museum Overview

Today, it is part of the Way of St. James as a village welcoming walkers who complete the circuit via Cluny - Le Puy en Velay.
In its church, you can discover frescoes by Jean Fusaro, a contemporary painter from Lyon.

A very old village, it would have been for many a stop for pilgrims on the Way of St. James, halfway between Cluny and the port of Belleville-sur-Saône, where they embarked for Arles between the 10th and 12th centuries.

TO HAVE :
- The church: It is located in the heart of the village. Having become too small, it was enlarged in 1826 with the addition of two side aisles. In 1890, the chancel was raised. You can also admire the monumental frescoes in the chancel by the internationally renowned Lyon painter Jean Fusaro. The church is open every day.
- The Col de Boubon: Panoramic viewpoint (638 meters).
- The Siberian Pass: Panoramic viewpoint (611 meters).

TO DO:
- Hiking: A 15 km route that will take you to various mountain passes, with superb views over the magnificent Gosne Orientale valley.
