Beaujolais wine discovery workshop

Guided by an oenologist, set off to discover the wines of Beaujolais, through their grape varieties, terroirs (crus) and winemaking techniques and their tasting.

Georges la Fay, oenologist and wine merchant in Beaujeu, the historic capital of Beaujolais, will passionately introduce you to the wines of his region.

You will begin by discovering the grape varieties, cultivation methods and winemaking methods of the region.

You will learn to recognize the main aromas present in Beaujolais, Morgon, Brouilly, etc. Then you will enjoy a fun tasting of six wines from different appellations.

We will highlight the diversity of aromas and structures induced by the different terroirs of Beaujolais.
