The EPIC Maison Départementale Rhône Tourisme (hereinafter Rhône Tourisme) collects and processes personal data within the framework of its public interest missions. Personal data is any element that allows for the direct (name, surname, address, etc.) or indirect (date of birth, login ID, IP address, etc.) identification of a natural person. This identification can be made from a single piece of data or from the combination of a set of data.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform users of the Rhône Tourisme website about how it collects and processes their personal data.

Rhône Tourisme is committed to collecting only the information strictly necessary for the provision of its services.

The collection and use of personal data serve the following purposes:

• Account creation for service providers
• Reservations management

2- Managing contact requests

• Receiving applications
• Response to requests
• Statistics office

3-Managing contact files for communication (newsletter)

• Management and distribution of newsletters (subscription, electronic sending)
• Address file management for communication
• Statistics office

4- Event management

• Invitation management
• Registration management

Article 3.2: Legal basis for processing 

The processing is based on the execution of a mission of public interest of the Department of Rhône.

The personal data collected in connection with the activities described above are as follows: 

For the provision of online booking services for tourism products

• Identification data: last name, first name, name of the organization
• Contact details: email address, postal address, telephone number
• Bank details: information strictly necessary for online payment by bank transfer or credit card

Managing contact requests

• Identification data: last name, first name
• Contact details: email address
• Elements of the request

Managing contact files for communication (newsletter)

• Identification data: last name, first name
• Contact details: email address

Event Management

• Identification data: last name, first name
• Contact details: email address, postal address, telephone number
• Data relating to registration and participation in events
• Details of the event: purpose of the event, date, location, prices

Article 3.4: Recipients 

The following are authorized to receive a communication of personal data:

• Authorized agents of Rhône Tourisme
• The Apidae network and the Rhône Tourist Offices
• Subcontractors who provide services on behalf of Rhône Tourisme, including website management, customer relationship management and the provision of online booking services for tourism products.

Article 3.5: Shelf life 

Personal data is stored:

• For newsletters: until the user unsubscribes;
• For event management: 2 years for participant data;
• For live ticketing: 10 years in case of invoicing;
• For contact requests: 2 years after the last exchange.

ARTICLE 4: USER'S RIGHTS REGARDING DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING

Any user whose personal data is being processed may exercise the following rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act:

• Permission to access
• Right of rectification
• Right to erasure
• Right to portability
• Right to limitation
• Right to object (or the right to withdraw consent at any time when processing is based on this legal basis)
• Right not to be the subject of a decision based exclusively on an automated process
• Right to determine the fate of data after death

ARTICLE 5: TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AMENDING THE PRIVACY POLICY

The publisher of the Rhône Tourisme website reserves the right to modify this policy at any time in order to ensure that users of the site comply with applicable law.  

Users are encouraged to read this policy each time they use Rhône Tourisme services, without needing to be formally notified.
